STM Week Innovations Day 2023 | Calling Innovators

Seeking AI trailblazers and pioneers

Calling all innovators: the ones boldly developing AI solutions to help transform scholarly communications. If you are a start-up, or an established player with an innovative new concept or product: We'd like to hear from you!

What's this about? STM champions technologists, companies and start-ups that adance trusted research — the changemakers leveraging AI and innovation to accelerate scholarly communications in positive ways — to better serve the academic community.

To that end, we're planning STM Innovations Day on December 5 2023 — as part of our annual STM Week held at the BMA House in London. Here, innovators can apply to present their concept to a captive audience of STM members: academic publishers, learned societies, university presses, and other established players. The event will culminate with the Vesalius Innovation Award ceremony, organized by Karger Publishers.

Why should I apply? Selected innovators have the ability to:

  • Meet and network with the innovation leaders and decision makers in the STM industry
  • Get stage time: present your business concept on stage in brief, lightning talks
  • Showcase your work via a table-top booth plus a poster to present your innovation, live demos and enjoy in-depth conversations
  • Engage in quality collaborations with pre-scheduled meetings with STM members and attendees
  • Celebrate fellow innovators and Vesalius award winners
