Lyndsey Dixon is Global Journals Director at De Gruyter. Leading the global journals team from a Hong Kong base, she is responsible for the growth and development of this dynamic and multidisciplinary journal portfolio.
With extensive experience in the research ecosystem she led the Taylor & Francis Asia Pacific journal team for 9 years growing the reach, reputation and impact of the portfolio and the company across the region.
Starting out over a decade ago with Elsevier’s respected Engineering books program, before moving on to managing a portfolio of Serials titles in the Life Sciences, she joined T&F in 2009 as Journals Publisher.
Since moving to Asia in 2011 she’s gained experience in both STM and SSH spheres working with academic societies, editors and authors from across the globe. Sharing knowledge is integral to her role and she has vast experience working to develop those involved in publishing at various levels: be that as course tutor for STM Association's Advanced Course in Journal Publishing, training the next cohort of publishing professionals, providing seminars to Journal Editors across the region or hosting workshops to Early Career Researchers.
