Anna Kende

Anna Kende is a professor of social psychology at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest.

Her research revolves around issues of intergroup relations, more specifically, she investigates the psychological underpinnings of social change both in the area of prejudice reduction and engagement in social movements.

She has participated in and coordinated several international research projects funded by the EU, national and international organisations, mostly concerning the situation of structurally disadvantaged groups, such as the European Roma.

She has also published several papers on issues concerning the problem of diversity and inclusion in science and publication. She is the director of the Institute of Psychology and the chair of the Social Groups and Media Research Lab.
