We are seeking an Associate Publisher, Portfolio Strategy who has responsibility for the strategic oversight and editorial success of the growing AIP Publishing portfolio of hybrid and gold open access journals.

Responsibilities will include defining the editorial vision, strategy, and goals for the journal portfolio. Creating and implementing an effective engagement strategy for Editors, building and fostering good working relationships to define areas of opportunity and differentiation for the journals amongst their competitors.

Additionally, you will oversee P&L management, driving editorial and financial growth while closely monitoring key performance indicators defined by our organizational strategy.

· Are proficient in physics or the physical sciences; a degree in a physical science-related field is preferred but not required.

To be considered you’ll:

· Bring significant experience (7+years) working in the STM publishing industry, where you have experience in developing journals/editorial products and leading editorial and/or publishing teams.

· Have a minimum of 5 years' experience directly managing and developing staff, showcasing your ability to coach and nurture talent.

Additional details:

$120,000 - $130,000

Salary within the above posted range is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience.

Must reside within NY, NJ, CT, MD, VA, PA, MA, RI or Washington, DC. This is a remote opportunity.
