Kevin Dolby

Kevin Dolby has worked at the Wellcome Trust, in a variety of different roles, for eighteen years. 

With a background in mathematics and library science, he initially worked in the Wellcome Library before becoming a Policy Officer in 2006 with a particular interest in conducting bibliometric analyses on the published outputs of Wellcome-funded researchers. 

In the Insight & Analysis team, Kevin currently leads on the sourcing and mapping of data to provide insight into Wellcome activities, working with the grants and IT teams to ensure that sensible and consistent data and metrics are used across the team’s projects. 

Kevin has served on advisory boards and working groups for a number of external groups, including ORCID, CASRAI, Thomson Reuters and the Association of Medical Research Charities.
