Craig Van Dyck

Craig Van Dyck is Vice President, Global Content Management, in the Scientific, Technical, Medical, and Scholarly Publishing division of John Wiley & Sons, Inc.. He is responsible for Production and Manufacturing for all media. He has been with Wiley since 1996, and is based in Hoboken and Oxford.

From 1986-1996, he was with Springer-Verlag New York, as Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, for the last two years. He worked from 1978-86 at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and Ablex Publishing.

Van Dyck served as Chairman of the AAP's Enabling Technologies Committee from 1995-1998, and was instrumental in the development of the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) system; he represents Wiley on the Board of Directors of the International DOI Foundation. He is Wiley’s alternate Board member of CrossRef, and is a Board member of ORCID.
