STM stands for advancing open and trusted research, where researchers and the rest of society can rely on information that is credible, accessible, linked and searchable in perpetuity. To drive this mission forward, STM’s work in Open Research covers all aspects of Open Access, Open Data, Open Science, infrastructure for Open Science, and related areas as the field evolves — from legal, policy, advocacy, communications to technology and beyond. This work is best conducted collaboratively, as a diverse force of inspired STM members of all shapes and sizes — from all corners of the globe.

MEMBER DRIVEN
The STM Open Research Lab
All STM members have an opportunity to have a voice and help shape the future of scholarly communications. The Open Research Lab is a platform for a wider STM Community to share input and insights to help us advance trusted research. Our Lab is composed of a diverse membership of inspired individuals, appointed by their own organisations, who are eager to help envision future strategies to drive our mission forward. The lab meets quarterly, remotely or in person.
Would you like more information on your organisation’s engagement in the Lab? Reach out to your manager, or email info@stm-assoc.org to find out who your representatives are.
