Sid McNeal

Sid McNeal, Jr. is Vice President and General Manager of Publisher Affairs and EBSCO International for EBSCO Information Services. McNeal holds a unique position that leads customer and publisher-facing groups within EBSCO to provide the most effective and efficient solutions to simplify the electronic journal process. McNeal is responsible for bringing efficiencies that improve intermediary services to publishers, including accelerating the development of information technology enhancements that strengthen EBSCO’s support to publishers in the scholarly publishing electronic environment. McNeal also oversees EMpact Sales, which provides targeted sales and marketing services for publishers and EBSCO’s regional offices that serve library customers in the Asian/Indian sub-continental regions, Australia/New Zealand and Latin America. 

McNeal has more than 25 years in the information services industry with EBSCO and plays an integral role in leading EBSCO to be the most preferred information intermediary in the world. He is a member of STM, SSP, UKSG and ALPSP. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a B.S. in Marketing and serves on the Trussville City Schools Board of Education. McNeal resides in Birmingham, Ala., USA.
