Laurence Bianchini

Laurence Bianchini is an emerging leader in the scholarly communication industry and a consultant with expertise in innovative open access business models and services, semantic technology and science collaboration networks.

She has a PhD in physics, was COO of MyScienceWork for the past years, today in charge of strategic partnerships. During the past 7 years, she contributed to building one of the largest research publication database and search engine (www.mysciencework.com 66M publications and patents, 1.1M monthly users).

She invented and designed Polaris – the first fully automatized turnkey repository solution, integrated into a collaborative environment for researchers. Today she also promotes Sirius – MyScienceWork’s TDM and data science service and works with universities and publishers as an innovation and business consultant.

She is active in the industry, having presented to many open access week events in Paris, Luxembourg, Berkeley and San Francisco, and annual events like SSP, NFAIS and others.
