William T. Jackson

William Jackson is an Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he teaches Microbiology and has a research lab focused on the interactions of simple human viruses with their host cells. Dr. Jackson received his S.B. in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1993 and his Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California at Berkeley in 1999. He then took a postdoctoral research position in the Microbiology and Immunology Department at the Stanford University Medical Center, where he remained until starting his current position in 2007. Dr. Jackson spends his spare time with his wife, also a research scientist, and two young children, and is without question the biggest New England Patriots fan currently residing in the state of Wisconsin.
