Ian Borthwick
Ian is a Portfolio Development Manager in the Standards Division of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK. Ian previously worked as a Commissioning Editor at Woodhead Publishing, UK, where he set up a successful series of energy reference books.
As Under-35 STM Board Member, he is interested not only in addressing industry developments and promoting best practices, but also in improving engagement with junior and middle managers in the publishing industry. Ian is also co-editor of a book on Academic and Professional Publishing (ISBN: 978-1843346692, Chandos Publishing, 2012).
