Pritchard leaving Ingram

29 May 2012. Skip Prichard, who oversaw the integration of several different Ingram divisions into what is now known as the Ingram Content Group, will step down as president and CEO June 8. Ingram Content chairman John Ingram will assume Prichard’s duties as CEO.
Prichard joined Ingram in 2007 and beginning in 2009 directed a restructuring that melded the Ingram Book Company, Ingram Digital, and Lightning Source into the Ingram Content Group. Under his leadership, Ingram expanded its digital distribution capabilities, broadened its print-on-demand Lightning Source unit by establishing a series of networks overseas, and took on more back-end operations for publishers. To promote the new Ingram, Prichard was a regular on the conference tour, often serving as the keynote speaker at different events. He also created the Leadership Insights blog at www.skipprichard.com, something he will continue to do.
