STM regrets to announce the death of Peter Banks, Executive Director of patientINFORM, the public health care information service jointly supported by STM and the Professional and Scholarly Publishing Division of AAP, their member publishers and several key Voluntary Health Organisations. Peter was a well known figure in U. S. medical publishing and a passionate advocate of health care information. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and colleagues in the STM world.
