The STM Election Oversight Committee has announced the names of the successful Board candidates and the vacancies they will fill on the Board. Between 11 - 28 September, more than 60% of designated voters participated in the election, exceeding the 53% rate in 2006.

The new members will be officially welcomed at the Board meeting and Annual General Meeting in Frankfurt on 8 October 2007.
