The next Webinar is planned for: 13 March at 3 pm GMT/ 10 am US-EST

This webinar will provide you with an update on the new compliance requirements that have been published in draft by COUNTER.

COUNTER has started the consultation rounds on its latest proposed Code of Practice, Release 5 (COP5) and welcomes feedback from all stakeholders between now and 12 April 2017. From a publishers standpoint, the currently proposed COP5 risks to significantly increase both complexity and compliance costs of customer usage reporting for STM members. As a result this may negatively impact overall industry COUNTER compliance.

Join our speakers from ACS, Springer Nature and Elsevier to learn about the COP5 timelines, the key changes from COP4 and discuss the potential implications for full-text publishers and other STM members.

The COP Release 5 documentation and consultation materials are available on the COUNTER website here.

The Program includes inside views from:

  • Senol Akay, Ph.D., Web Analytics Manager, American Chemical Society
  • Andy Halliday, Identity Product Owner, Springer Nature
  • Elena Zapryanova-Hadjinikolova, Director Analytics, Elsevier

Moderator: Eefke Smit, STM, Director Standards and Technology
